Ellen Cushman is Professor of English and Dean's Professor of Civic Sustainability in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities at Northeastern University and a citizen of the Cherokee Nation. She is Co-Director of NULab for Digital Humanities and Computational Social Sciences.
